Objectives and Contents
This course for advanced learners follows the international standards of the renowned Goethe Institute in terms of teaching techniques, continuous professional teacher's training, choice of learning materials and course setup. The course is based upon the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. After 72 class units the participant will precede to level B1.1. Upon completion of this programme, you will be able to:

• Understand standard input for familiar situations regularly encountered at work and in everyday life;
• Use small talk, introduce yourself and your work/company, react appropriately to situations that arise with business associates, etc.;
• Deal with most situations likely to arise whilst traveling in Germany;
• Write simple, coherent texts independently about standard topics relating to business or matters
of personal interest;
• Describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions, as well as briefly give reasons
and explanations for your opinions and plans.

Target Group
For this course approximately 400 units of German language are required. Everyone interested in improving his/her German skills is welcome to join. Especially useful for staff of German companies based in and around Shanghai who want to be able to communicate more fluently, understand documents in German, write business letters and listen to conversations in German. German Advanced Course will help to advance your own career and intensify relations with other German companies as well as within your own office.
