 The German Language is a difficult language?
In an entertaining form the Goethe-Jinchuang Language Center is going to show the visitors of the German Pavillion at the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai that it is directly the opposite. We are organizing for the whole 6-months duration of the World Exhibition “30-minutes German Trial Courses for beginners” that will take place twice a week in the afternoon on the big stage of the pavilion. The team of well-experienced teachers will show you that it is a great fun to learn the German language. All the visitors of the German Pavillion are invited to take part in our German Trial Courses. Come and see how joyfull the learning with us is and how fast you can make progress in learning.

About the German Trial Course:
What is the German Trial Course?
The Goethe-Jinchuang Language Center presents itself at the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai not as an ordinary participant and exhibitor, but with a “lively entertainment program” for the visitors – with the German Trial Course for beginners. The concept was developed by Janet Dukes, Advisor for Educational Links at the Goethe-Institute Peking. It offers you the first contact with the German language and it helps you to make the first steps in learning of German in a pleasant easy atmosphere.
Why was the EXPO chosen as a venue for the German Trial Course?
Our goal is to attract people’s attention to Germany and to the German Language as well as to present the Goethe-Institute’s methods of teaching to a broad international audience. Where can reach more people as at the EXPO, which is expecting millions of visitors from all over the world?! Our mission is to communicate the lively portrait of the contemporary Germany that is why our events are an essential part of the cultural program of the German Pavillion.
Who can participate in the German Trial Course?
Everybody who wants to make the first steps in learning of German, irrespective of age, educational background or nationality can take part in our 30-minute courses.
Is it difficult to learn German?
It is not only absolutely easy, you will have much fun by learning. You will learn in communication with very nice and friendly teachers and other participants. Grammar structures and vocabulary are introduced by means of pictures and gestures, rhythm and movements play an important role in the process of teaching and learning as well. Without much effort you will be able to make a small conversation in German after only 30 minutes of learning! |
