Enrolment Procedure
Step 1: Registration
You can register for our courses at any time at our Language Office, or via the following options:
a. Online registration: Click here to inform us of your desired course. A member of staff will contact you shortly;
b. Written application: click here to download our current registration form. After completion, please sign and email or fax it to our Language Office.
Step 2: Proficiency Assessment
To ensure you are enrolled in the course level best suited to you, all candidates with a prior knowledge of German are asked to take part in a placement test after registration. The written placement test can be taken anytime during our office hours. We conduct the oral placement test each Monday and Wednesday afternoon between 14:00 and 16:00. Please get in touch with our language office to arrange an interview for the oral proficiency assessment. Candidates without prior knowledge of German can register directly without completing the test.
Step 3: Confirmation of Acceptance
After the placement test we will provide final confirmation as to whether we can offer you a place on the course level you applied for.
In case there are no vacancies on the course you wish to attend, we are happy to place you on the waiting list. In our experience, a number of places become available for candidates on the waiting list before course begin. Alternatively, you can apply for the following course date, for which you will be given preferential treatment in place allocation. Where there is sufficient demand, we do our best to set up an additional course. In some cases courses with an insufficient number of students my take place, with a surcharge on the course fee.
Step 4: Enrolment
A place will be reserved for you once you have paid the course fee in full and enrolled by the deadline listed in the final confirmation sent to you.
Unfortunately the Goethe-Jinchuang Language Centre does not offer accommodation facilities. Information about hotels and guesthouses is available from our Language Office, but participants travelling to the centre from further away should arrange their own accommodation. |
