TestDaF- Preparation Course
The Test of German as a Foreign Language (TestDaF - Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache) is a centrally compiled and standardized language test assessing linguistic performance, primarily within the context of university life at an intermediate to advanced level. This exam is particularly relevant for students who wish to study in Germany and need proof of their advanced German language skills. The TestDaF Institute Hagen is responsible for the compilation and evaluation of the exam.
For more information about TestDaF exams and registration in PR China, please refer to the website of the TestDaF Institute (www.testdaf.de). In Shanghai, the TestDaF examination can be taken at the Shanghai Waiguoyu Daxue (Shanghai International Studies University).
鈥淭he main problem area in Chinese TestDaF results is listening comprehension鈥; according to Beate Geist, the TestDaF representative for PR China. This is the starting point for the TestDaF preparation courses offered by the Goethe-Jinchuang Language Centre. The intensive course encompasses 120 TU and focuses on listening comprehension, as well as spoken German 鈥 another prime area of difficulty. The subsequent course, comprising 64 TU, focuses on reading and writing. The courses can be taken separately, or booked together to receive a discount.
For our preparatory courses we us current and high quality teaching materials reviewed and authorized by the TestDaF Institute in Germany. Our proficiency assessment prior to course begin ensures that you are qualified to take part in the course (approx. 1,000 German lessons are recommended). You will be familiarized with the exam features and take part in mock exams in small groups of max. 15 participants per course.
We will deepen your university-level background knowledge and refresh the necessary vocabulary. You will also learn strategies for successfully dealing with this particular type of testing, preparing you for the examination in a professional and effective way.
