The three trainers Karin Benkelmann, Steffi Schieber and Carola Krueger had already put the program to test on different locations- e.g. within the activities of "Germany and China- Moving ahead together" at it's station in Wuhan. The concept had been devloped at the Goethe-Institut Beijing under the supervision of Janette Dukes who is responsible for Educational Cooperation there. The goal was set to explain the chain of actions performed for this program and to test them with a demonstration. About 20 highly motivated students from beginning level volunteered for this task. They were shown with first hand experience how easy it can be to acquire some basic German sentences like "I like tea. What do you like?" with the help of pictures and gestures. What a great sense of achievement, being able after just 10 minutes to engage in a simple question-answer game!
